King’s Lynn members tackle Great Tarmouth triathlon

The Yarmouth Triathlon was a resounding success for members of the King's Lynn Triathlon Club team.

Despite a chilly easterly wind, all had a great day.

Sarah Roan won the overall women's competition in 52:29, while Lynne Howlett also triumphed, winning her age group in her first ever Yarmouth Tri in 1:08:35.

This was also Owen Jary's first time, finishing in 1:00:36, and both Lynne and Owen were impressed with the event's organisation and enthusiastic support.

Other club members competing were Niamh Walter 1:04:46, Wayne Hopkins 1:00:11 and Jason Blackwell 53:10: and all managed to beat their personal best times from previous years.

A fantastic day all around for the club.
