Medal madness at Lynn martial arts school

Students at the Lynn-based Kuk Sool Won School have had double reason to celebrate with a number of successes at various events.

A handful of students took part in the WKSA Scottish tournament, at Motherwell, where they returned home with nine medals while Thomas Brown was crowned second dan black belt grand champion

The following weekend saw these four students join 46 others from the school at the WKSA European tournament in Norwich.

Rebecca Webster, Noah Mulford and Ethan Mclaughlan were all promoted to Jyo Kyo Nim first dan black belt and Matthew Skoyles gained his Kyo Sa Nim second dan black belt.

This year saw a huge amount of entries with a total of 1039 competitors.

Lynn members brought back an amazing total of 65 medals and the school was placed 11th out of more than 90 schools across the UK and Europe.

School owners and instructors Darren and Marie congratulated all students on their achievements.
