Past and present captains from King's Lynn Golf Club do battle at first meeting of the year

Nine past captains from Lynn Golf Club and present skipper Nigel Chettleburgh enjoyed the first golf meeting of this year.

A further five past captains joined competitors for the meal after the golf.

Although it was a beautiful day for golf it wasn’t a great day for high scores on the greens.

However Mike Wilson (past president) pipped current president Philip Gurr on countback with 32 points to win the Owl Cup.

The Owl Cup was presented to the winner by Nigel Chettleburgh.

Lynn Golf Club now look forward to their autumn meeting where they hope a few more past captains will be able to join them for the next competition.
