Holding back the competition he raced to a podium second place finish in race one.

The next morning Wight started the green flag lap but a mechanical failure halfway round the circuit meant that he was unable to complete his second outing.

Wright, who retains fifth place in a field of 16 drivers in class B, would like to say a big thank you to Shaun Hagen Motor Services for repairing and prepping the car ready for a Civic Cup test the following weekend.

Wright is action again next at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire on July 28..

The West Norfolk driver is supported by Luke Loades, of Rounce and Evans Property Management, and Shaun Hagen, of Shaun Hagen Motor Services.

Thanks also go to Selina Automotive, All Signs, Anglia Tool Centre and The Norfolk Building Co (UK) Ltd.
