Two podiums for Snettisham's Phil

Phil Wright achieved two podium positions in the 750 Motor Club's Royal purple Hot hatch championship at Croft Circuit last weekend.

Swapping from the Clio, which was lacking straight line speed, the Snettisham-based driver got the Civic working right from the start. Qualifying fourth for both races of the day, Wright got the car working well along the straights.

He passed several competitors around him to finish third in race one.

In race two ,a lightning getaway from the lights helped push Wright up to the second step of the podium before the chequered flag.

Wright, who will next be in action at the Carmarthenshire circuit of Pembrey on June 30, is supported By Luke Loades of Rounce and Evans Property Management and Shaun Hagen of Shaun Hagen Motor Services.
