West Norfolk Rugby Club's youth, mini and girls' sections celebrate successful season

West Norfolk Rugby Club's youth, mini and girls' team came together for the first time in two years on Saturday to celebrate the end of the rugby season.

Girls and boys gathered from Under-6s to Under-18s for awards, games and fun.

For once, the weather was kind and sunshine prevailed, sausages sizzled and children bounced their cares away on an inflatable assault course.

Proud parents, beaming children and tired coaches looked on as the rugby stars of the future stepped up to take their places in the spotlight under arches of balloons and bunting in club colours.

The rugby core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship were obvious to see in all of the age groups as they gathered to acknowledge theirs and their team-mates' achievements.
