Renegade Runners members endure a busy weekend of action




It was another busy weekend of action for Renegade Runners members at various events across the country.

At Bedford on Saturday, Ash and Cheryl Brown ran the 5k together earlier in the day, both running 30.36.

In the evening they also ran the 10k with Cheryl running 53 minutes and Ash 63 minutes.

They were joined by Russell Brett who ran 64 minutes.

Russell returned the next day to run the half marathon in 2 hours and 36 mins.

Up in Cumbria, Lola Kidman, who recently celebrated his tenth birthday, ran in a challenging fell race for under-12s.

The youngster was in her usual fine form to finish fourth overall and as fourth girl.

At the Wissey half marathon it was a successful day for the magnificent seven who travelled to Oxborough.

Elisabeth Sennitt-Clough was first Renegade home in a new personal best time of 1.35.06.

This saw her as fourth lady overall and first F40.

Ian Wiggins was the first Renegade man home in a new PB time of 1.39.38, while Charlotte Barrett was another to record a PB, crossing the line in 1.41.32.

Steve Eke also recorded a new PB, running 1.44.12, followed by Irena Marcinek, who enjoyed her run to finish in 1.47.02.

Andy Doyle paced Kerrie Page excellently well to break her previous best time by more than five minutes, clocking a new PB of 2.12.39.
