Roll on Poole, says King's Lynn Stars boss
Roll on Poole, says King's Lynn Stars team boss Dale Allitt after seeing his side jump into the play-off places after Monday’s 49-41 win over Somerset.
Lynn are in fourth spot after three speedway SGB Premiership home wins over the past week.
Allitt, who has the same seven riders available as Somerset for Wednesday’s (Aug 1) trip to Poole, said: “Our away from is good – seconds in the league, I think.
“We’ve got a ‘toughy’ coming up. Poole is always hard but we go into every meeting, every race and lap 100 per cent.
“It’s traditionally hard because the track isn’t one of the best. They’ve got a solid team.
“We’ve won there before so there’s no reason why we can’t do it again.
"The riders are changing a little bit. Niels (Kristian Iversen) is going to No.5, while Robert (Lambert) is going to No.1 on Wednesday, so that’ll be the first thing that happens.
“It’s not a massive disruption to the team; they’re both in Heat 15 again.”
