An immediate response from West Norfolk saw Zoe Sharp break through the Woodbridge rearguard to level the scores.

Constant forward pressure made it possible for forward of the match, Nerea Fernández Rodríguez, to put her name on the scoreboard.

Brilliant attacking play enabled Libby Lockwood to score under the posts, which was subsequently converted.

A slip in defence allowed Woodbridge to register the final points of the half.

Some explosive defensive and attacking play from West allowed Lockwood to open the scoring in a physical second half.

Although carrying an injury, Mary Hegarty, who was hungry to get on the pitch, made an immediate impact in the last quarter to score within minutes of being introduced.

Fine teamwork from a scrum resulted in the final try of the match by Tiff Turner. Tries were also converted by Sharp and Turner.
