West Norfolk schools battle it out at tag rugby festival

Thirty-five school teams took part in a non-scoring development festival last week hosted and supported by West Norfolk Rugby Club.

Eighteen teams in the morning and 17 in the afternoon experienced coached matches led by a team of sports leaders from KES Academy, Smithdon HS, St Clements HS and KLA.

In between matches club coaches led skill stations to help ensure that all players left the event with a stronger skill set and a greater knowledge of the rules.

Overall, it was a positive event that it is hoped will promote more players to follow a pathway into the club.

A big thank you to the sports leaders and West Norfolk Rugby Club for supporting the School Sports Partnership staff on the day.
