Teenage West Norfolk driver breaks into the top 15

West Norfolk single seater racer Oliver Clarke is celebrating his latest results in the USA F4 Championship.

Clarke, 15, has broken through to finish in the top 15 for the first time.

The Downham teenager had a series of issues at the previous round in Mid-Ohio as he got caught up in race errors by other drivers so is pleased to have turned his fortune around in the latest round in Pittsburgh.

A delighted Clarke said: "The race result in Pittsburgh of 20th 11th and 13th are my best finishes yet.

"I wish I could have got in the top 10 and gained my first point in the championship, I was so close.

"Mid-Ohio had been a very frustrating round so it was great to move on from that in Pittsburgh."

Oliver, who is a pupil at Iceni Academy at Methwold, is on a big learning curve in the F4 car after graduating from a very successful karting career earlier in the year.

He races with Team Benik who are based in the USA in karts and cars.

Racing at speeds of 150 miles-per-hour, he is competing with seasoned drivers and is one of the youngest on the grid.

The youngster is supported by Ryan Motor Sport Insurance, Fenland Windows and the EHF Gym in Downham and his website is now live at: www.oliverclarkeracing.com

Clarke is always looking for people to partner with him with promotional ideas so please contact him through his website, Oliver Clarke Racing on Facebook, or Twitter.
