King's Lynn youngster Jared continues British BMX progress

West Norfolk youngster Jared Hill continued his progression in rounds three and four of the British BMX series at the Cyclopark facility in Kent.

Jared made it to the A final in the 10s on the Saturday.

Despite not attacking the first, technical jump due to the wind, he managed eighth after a mistake in the first corner.

Sunday was a different matter and after a couple of practice runs he was confident enough to jump on almost every lap for fifth in the A final.

It was a busy bank holiday weekend for the Lynn Hill family. Dad Alan remained consistent, winning both Vets and 45-49 cruiser on both days.

He didn’t have it easy though, particularly in vets where he was pushed all the way to the finish line on both days.

Meanwhile, Kyle found the 15s tough at the weekend, but made up for it in 15/16 cruiser with a seventh on Saturday and a fourth on the Sunday.

The family will travel to Glasgow later this month for rounds five and six.
