Thirty-nine schools are part of this year's Active Kids programme which is hosted at Alive Lynnsport.
The schools are divided into three festival groups and at each festival the Year 1 and 2 students rotate around a carousel of activities which all follow a theme.
The theme for the first festival has been Target activities and each of the activity stations is led by sports leaders from Springwood High School.

The focus for the festivals is to engage more young students into being more active and to provide staff attending some ideas to take back to school and replicate.
