It's all about things that go bump in the night for this King's Lynn author

Dr Paul Lee has written a ghostly page turner The Ghosts of King’s Lynn billed as the first in-depth analysis of the ghosts of Lynn and West Norfolk

Published in October 7 of this year the 306 page paperback book includes nearly two hundred stories dating from the late 18th century to the present day.

Maps of the region are included in the book and most of the stories are either brand new, or have languished in obscurity for decades, if not centuries.

"I am keen to have these stories preserve for prosperity and for future generations.

"We lost Facebook recently for several hours and it's time to wake up and start preserving information before the last custodians are no longer here.

"I have always been interested in ghosts and very little in this region seems to get a mention.

I thought it was about time to being these stories to date and try to write a definitive story of ghost history in West Norfolk."

The foreword has been written by Alan Murdie, a barrister specialising in debt and enforcement.

He is the chairman of The Ghost Club and a council member of The Society for Psychical Research with both organisations dating back to the 19th century.

The book is priced £15, and can be obtained via a link to Amazon on the author’s website here
