Jess Glynne to play Thetford Forest Forest Live summer concerts
Thetford Forest will welcome one of the most successful acts of the last decade for their upcoming Forest Live summer concerts.
Jess Glynne has announced she will play at the annual Forest Live event on June 20, with tickets due to go on sale this Friday.
The powerhouse vocalist holds the record for the most Number 1 singles scored by a British female solo artist – a total of seven.
Her debut album I Cry When I Laugh sold 1.2 million copies and her follow-up album, Always in Between, went platinum.
She's the solo voice behind popular songs including Hold My Hand, Don't Be So Hard On Yourself, I'll Be There and Thursday.
Fans will also know her from hit collaborations including Rather Be with Clean Bandit, My Love with Route 94, Not Letting Go with Tinie Tempah and These Days with Rudimental and Macklemore.
Successfully crossing the genres of pop, R&B, house and soul, Jess is now working on her third album and will soon be releasing a festive single, a cover of This Christmas.
The event is part of an outdoor live music series organised by the Forestry Commission, the events introduce new audience to unique natural woodland arenas while supporting conservation projects and tree planting schemes.
Jess Glynne & Guests will take place at Thetford Forest, near Brandon in Suffolk, on Sunday, June 20. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday, November 27 at www.forestryengland.uk/music
