King's Lynn Festival's to host Gypsy Rondo in free online concert series




King's Lynn Festival's online cocktail concert series will feature the musical talents of Devine Music piano trio, Gypsy Rondo, in their next free concert.

Taking place on March 11, at 6pm, the concert will feature Hungarian violinist Dominika Fehér, cellist Andrew Skidmore and Steven Devine on the fortepiano.

Dominika has toured the world with leading early music ensembles, such as the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, English Baroque Soloists, Academy of Ancient Music, Early Opera Company and The Kings Consort, and recorded for Signum Classics, Resonus Classics and Convivium.

She has appeared at the BBC Proms and also performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, Royal Opera House Covent Garden and Royal Festival Hall in London, Carnegie Hall in New York, La Scala in Milan, Konzerthaus in Vienna and National Centre For the Performing Arts in Beijing.

Andrew spent several years as cellist for the Salomon Quartet and the Fitzwilliam String Quartet. He is currently a guest principal with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia and Haydn-Philharmonie, Eisenstadt, and has given classes at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and the Royal Academy of Music.

Steven is the principal keyboard player with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and The Gonzaga Band. He has recorded over thirty discs with other artists and ensembles and made six solo recordings.

He made his London conducting debut in 2002 at the Royal Albert Hall and is now a regular performer there – including making his Proms directing debut in August 2007 with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. He has conducted the Mozart Festival Orchestra in every major concert hall in the UK and also across Switzerland.
