King’s Lynn’s Festive Merchants’ Market returns to King’s Lynn this weekend
The Festive Merchants’ Market returns to Lynn this weekend showcasing a host of local businesses.
This will be the fifth year of the popular market taking place on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm in the Tuesday Market Place.
Vicky Etheridge, manager of King’s Lynn BID (Business Improvement District) said: “We have close to 30 small businesses from across Norfolk, Cambridge and Lincolnshire, most within 50 miles of King's Lynn.
“We are welcoming back some familiar favourites like Rusty Krab, Little Blue Pupcakery, Birdhouse Brewery and Berberis House Honey, alongside some new traders.
“Almost all of the small businesses trading hand make their products and employ less than three people, many are sole traders.
“There will also be delicious food and drink available to eat on the day - homemade cakes and boozy hot chocolates from the Boston Tea Party, loaded dirty fires from The Bucket List and pizza from the OG Pizza Slice Guy.
“To top it off there will be musical entertainment from East Angles Brass Band, and a selection of street entertainers.
“We hope that the market will encourage people to come into town, get into the festive spirit and spend the day enjoying all that King's Lynn has to offer, including our high street stalwarts like Marks & Spencer, Primark, Boots and H&M, as well as our fine selection of independent retailers.”
At The Place in the town’s Vancouver Quarter on both days from 10am to 3pm there will be free family activities including letters to Santa, Christmas crafting and decorating a sweet treat. The festive fun at The Place and the street entertainment is being delivered in partnership with the Vancouver Quarter.
