Rob Chandler joins Greatest Hits Radio as it broadcasts to West Norfolk




Rob Chandler is to be the drivetime presenter on Greatest Hits Radio (GHR), the station that replaces KL.FM from Tuesday, owners Bauer Media announced today.

The presenter, currently hosts the breakfast show on former Celador stations Radio Norwich, North Norfolk Radio, Town 102, The Beach and Dream 100. His new drivetime show will broadcast from 4-7pm every weekday.

Local stations Radio Norwich, North Norfolk Radio, Town 102, The Beach and Dream 100 and KL.FM, are all rebranding to Greatest Hits Radio from next Tuesday, providing a new line-up of shows for listeners, as well as a playlist of the biggest songs of the 70s, 80s and 90s from iconic artists such as Blondie, Queen, George Michael, Madonna, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Elton John and Whitney Houston.

Rob will join famous names such as Mark Goodier, Paul Gambaccini, Simon Mayo, Janice Long, Alex Lester and Pat Sharp.

Rob said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Greatest Hits Radio and playing all my favourite songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s. I’m also excited to take on the challenge of a new show after 34 years of doing breakfast radio, the lie ins will be very welcome!”

KL.FM has broadcast to West Norfolk and the fens since 1992 from its studios in Blackfriars Street, Lynn.
