Shouldham Entertainment Committee screening Firebrand and Despicable Me 4 in association with Creative Arts East
Sit back and enjoy two films in two days with an adults-only movie and a children's screening.
Shouldham Entertainment Committee will be presenting two recent films in the village hall on March 7 and 8 – Firebrand for the adults on Friday night and a children’s matinee of Despicable Me 4 on Saturday afternoon.
The village hall will once again be transformed into a rural cinema for two enjoyable films, presented in association with Creative Arts East.
Firebrand is the story of Henry VIII’s last wife Katherine Parr as she negotiates her survival during the final years of the increasingly paranoid king’s life.
Alicia Vikander stars as Katherine, the accomplished and educated reluctant sixth wife of the tyrannical king, played by an almost unrecognisable Jude Law.
Katherine must find her way through the treacherous waters of Tudor politics in order to avoid the fate of her predecessors. This film will be shown at 7pm.
In Despicable Me 4, Gru, Lucy, Margot, Edith and Agnes welcome a new member to the family, Gru Jr, who is intent on tormenting his dad.
Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend Valentina, and the family is forced to go on the run. This film will be shown at 2pm.
Audiences are welcome to bring their own drinks, and soft drinks, popcorn and snacks will also be on sale.
Tickets are available to be purchased in advance online at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/shouldham-entertainments-committee or on the door.
All tickets are £6 for adults and £3 for children.
