Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse celebrating Mother’s Day with free entry for mums for action-packed day




Are you looking for something to do as a family for Mother’s Day? A fascinating workhouse museum which is offering free entry for mums could be an ideal place to spend the day.

Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse is celebrating the special occasion with free entry for mums on Sunday, March 30 as part of the first month of its open season.

You can be among the first to see its new 2025 exhibition, ‘Through the Microscope’ which is included with general admission.

Opening from 10am-5pm, visitors will be able to explore the museum, woodlands and playground as the site springs back into life.

Learn more about habitats for wildlife with its stamper trail, and visit the farm to see The Flax and Fleece Project in action which is processing sustainable fibres grown at Gressenhall, and count how many lambs have been born to its flock of Norfolk Horn sheep.

The gift shop, Mardler’s Rest café and Friends of Gressenhall secondhand bookshop will be open.
